In 2001, Bartlett Associates was selected to draft several new HR policies for the INSCO Group, a privately held company with three distinct channels of distribution employing fewer than a hundred employees in a three state area.
While working with the INSCO executive team on those policies, Steve identified other systems in the HR function that required attention and was asked to work on several HR issues linked to the INSCO strategic plan. As a result, Steve revised the company's new employee orientation process, developed and implemented a flex benefit plan, rewrote job descriptions and recruited two key sales and marketing executives. Moreover, Steve's regional knowledge and expertise helped secure $14,000 in state grants to train all INSCO customer service and sales personnel on updated ISO 9000 standards.
Today, executives and employees at the INSCO Group see Bartlett Associates as a partner with the leadership team working to make INSCO an even better company. What began with one small project has blossomed into an ongoing consulting engagement that is poised to help the INSCO Group meet its strategic goal to double the business in the next five years.
